Appropriate Dress
The BJHS Physical Education Department requires all students to dress in athletic gym wear during Physical Education please visit syllabus to see requirements or the gym suit order form to purchase BJHS gym suits.

Class Goals
The goal of our class is develop good fitness habits and enjoy exercise Junior high is a great time to participate in exercise sports/games and develop fitness skills. Good health and fitness begins with a positive attitude about yourself when you are young. When exercise is enjoyable and present in your life you will be healthier. Our curriculum may include fitness testing, team and individual sports, team building activities, weight training, games and many other activities.

Mr. Dager
Hello, I am currently the BJHS Boy’s Gym Teacher. I have worked For Bedford Public Schools since the 1989/90 school year. I have served as the Senior High School Automotive Instructor, the Junior High School Wood Shop Instructor and presently the Junior High Boys Gym Teacher. I have coached Girls Basketball for 19 seasons, Girls Softball for 1 season, Boy’s Varsity and Junior Varsity Tennis for 10 seasons and presently the Girls Varsity Tennis Coach for the past 3 seasons. I received my undergraduate degree from Ferris State University and masters degree/graduate credits (in progress) from Spring Arbor, Eastern Michigan, University, Marygrove College and Central Michigan University.
